Universal Brake Chopper for use with any 400V 3 ph Inverter having access to DC+ & DC- terminals and a suitable external resistor.

Current Rating: 110A Peak or 500A Continuous.
Power Disipation at 750V DC Bus Trip Level setting: 375kW Peak or 82kW Continuous. 

DC Bus Voltage: 680V or 750V for controllers with 380V ac to 480V ac supply connection.
Minimum resistance: 1.5 Ohms.  See the resistors linked below, or use the 'Which Resistor' button at the bottom left of this page.

Simple to set-up (no adjustments are necessary) and provides braking for an existing Inverter Drive that might be tripping on 'Over-Voltage' or suffering from an extended stop ramp.

Enclosure: IP00.
Cubicle Mount in a clean environment.
Rated at 40°C Ambient.
