Dynamic Brake Resistor, 80 Ohms, 750 Watts

Noiseless Dynamic Braking Resistor type RB/KS rated 80 Ohms x 750 Watts for 40 seconds based on a duty cycle of 120 seconds without using a heatsink.
Application: When connected to a suitable Inverter drive this will add braking to the drive system, by absorbing energy returning from the load.

Overload: 6 x Power for 5 seconds every 40 seconds.
Maximum Overload:  Limited by the brake chopper Voltage to 1.8kW for 230V Drives.
Tolerance: ±5%.
Inductance: < 20pH.
Nominal Voltage: 1000V AC/DC.

Enclosure: IP42 when mounted (Open to rear).
Temperature @ 40% duty cycle 80/100°C.
Max temp of the hotest point on the surface of the resistance at nominal power 750W (500°C) and 500W (400°C).
