Pilz Safety Relay to provide Emergency Stop with braking when added to a suitable Inverter Drive and dynamic brake resistor. Together the items will provided emergency stop braking by activating a fast stop input, before making the drive safe by activating 'Safe Torque Off' inputs. Without a line contactor, this will provide for 'Safe Stop' (SS1) and 'Safe Torque Off' (STO) in accordance with Stop Category 1 according to EN 60204-1.
