TAE BC4.1-360/100 360kW/100kW Universal Brake Chopper

Universal Brake Chopper for use with any 400V 3 ph Inverter having access to DC+ & DC- terminals and a suitable external resistor.

Current Rating: 480A Peak or 133A Continuous.
Power Disipation at 680V DC Bus Trip Level setting:  326kW Peak or 90kW Continuous.
Power Disipation at 750V DC Bus Trip Level setting:  360kW Peak or 100kW Continuous. 

DC Bus Voltage: 680V or 750V for controllers with 380V ac to 480V ac supply connection.
(Control range potentiometer P1: 540 to 800, turn clockwise to increase 25V/turn)
Minimum resistance:  1.5 Ohms.  See the resistors linked below, or use the 'Which Resistor' button at the bottom left of this page.

DC fuse protaction 500A super fast (Recommended parrt number CPA-FK360)

Fitted with Mater/slave and fault cards.

Simple to set-up (no adjustments are necessary) and provides braking for an existing Inverter Drive that might be tripping on 'Over-Voltage' or suffering from an extended stop ramp.
