TAE 97kW Universal Brake Chopper BC3.1 97/52

Universal Brake Chopper for use with any 400V 3 ph Inverter having access to DC+ & DC- terminals and a suitable external resistor.

Power Rated: 97kW Peak or 52kW Continuous. 
Current Rating: 130A Peak or 70A Continuous 
DC Bus Voltage: 450V to 800V for controllers with 380V ac to 480V ac supply connection.
Minimum resistance:  5.5 Ohms.  See the resistors linked below, or use the 'Which Resistor' button at the bottom left of this page.

Simple to set-up (no adjustments are necessary) and provides braking for an existing Inverter Drive that might be tripping on 'Over-Voltage' or suffering from an extended stop ramp.
