Dynamic Brake Resistor, 28 Ohms, 6000 Watts

28 Ohms x 6000Watts (6kW) Dynamic Braking Resistor with terminal cover and thermal trip. 
Application: When connected to a suitable Inverter drive this will add braking to the drive system, by absorbing energy returning from the load.

Overload: 460% for 10 seconds every 100 Seconds, or as shown in the data sheet linked below.
Maximum Overload:  Limited by the brake chopper Voltage to 5.1kW for 230V Drives, or 20kW for 400V Drives.
Tolerance: -0 +5%.
Voltage: 1000V DC or AC rms.

Enclosure: IP20 when mounted (Open to rear).
Dimensions: 500mm Long x 195mm high x 388mm wide.
Mounting: Via 4 x M6 on 410mm by 360mm centres.

Thermal sensor has a normally closed contact opening at 250ºC and closing at 210ºC.
