Katko Manual Bypass Switch for use with AC Inverters and AC Induction motors up to 30kW, 63A, 400V. In applications where motor operation is critical the Bypass Switch allows motor control to be manually switched from the AC Inverter to the Mains supply.
3 Position Bypass Switch: AC Inverter ↔ Disconnect ↔ Bypass (Direct Mains Connection)
Padlockable in the off (disconnect) position.

The Bypass switch allows the user to manually switch from AC Inverter control if the AC Inverter is unable to operate but the motor is healthy. When bypassed the supply terminals to the AC Inverter and the motor connections from the AC Inverter are isolated.
Bypass Switches are rated for AC-23 Operation (Motor Load); no thermal overload.
Front mounted handle for operation.
Bypass (from AC Inverter to DOL) should only be operated when the AC Inverter is in a fault condition or is stopped.
Terminals fitted for Mains, Motor and AC Inverter connection.
2 x Normally Open (NO) Volt free contacts fitted to control terminals to indicate either Bypass or Inverter selection.
Suitable for Wall mounting.
