HowTo: How to set 'Power Up Start', or 'Run' from 'Supply On' for Inverter Drives

When power is removed from a Parker SSD 650 Series Inverter it will trip with a DC-LO alarm. This occurs a couple of seconds before it powers off. When power is restored this alarm will normally need to be reset before the drive will run again.

For some applications, this behavour may not be desirable. However, the appropriate safety considerations must be reviewed before enabling auto-start on power-up.

To auto-start on power-up access the SET : SETP menu and set the following parameters:-

Parameter Description Value
ST23 Auto restart trigger 0002
ST22 Auto restart delay 1
ST21 Auto restart attempts Min 1, Max 10
